Here are the sound files for this mood-lifting song written by Peggy Lee in 1946. She wrote or co-wrote 270 songs in her lifetime, including the songs she sang in Lady and the Tramp. She had to take Walt Disney to court to get the royalties she deserved. She also wrote the middle verses of her massive hit Fever (“Romeo loved Juliet…” and “Captain Smith and Pocahontas…”) and forgot to register the copyright for the new lyrics.
